The Fishing University Story
Our Roots
Founded in 2019., Fishing University started on long weekend deep drop fishing trip to the Florida Keys. I forgot my backpack full of clothes!! Day before boat left went shopping, needless to say the big named fishing stores wanted 80$ to 100$ for fishing shirts, so I went low budget. The whole weekend I got teased for my low budget anchor shirt and brim hat. Last day out I found a Sharpie in the helm and crossed out the name on the shirt and wrote F.U. It started as a revolt to the big name companies and the over priced fishing wear. Now it’s a place to be yourself and just FISH.
